Another 'update' from Sony. If you want to call it that.
"I know you all want to know exactly when the services will be restored. At this time, I can’t give you an exact date, as it will likely be at least a few more days. We’re terribly sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through this process."

And the point of this update was???????
Yeah, people are frustrated. PSN has been down too long (20 days now) and the updates from Sony have all been just like the above. But honesty, what's the point of repeating yourselves over and over with 'the next few days, the next few days, the next few days' and 'we're terribly sorry, we're terribly sorry, we're terribly sorry'. Look, everyone's pissed off about it (self included), but these updates that tell us no more than the previous update, etc. don't help at all. In this case, it's better to remain silent than to just repeat a previous update. What people want to know is something like this 'We're not sure when it will be back up, we'll let you know as soon as we can say for sure' or something to that effect. Until then, why not just stay silent and work on it? That seems to make the most sense to this frustrated user. ~ Crashdown96
We here at sony promise we are working as hard as we can. And as soon as we figure out what we are doing it will be back online eventually well ok maybe, well as soon as we feel like it, or maybe possibly within a few days or weeks or months.
ReplyDeleteHell in fact we really dont know quit asking about it.
